For patient support programs

Support patients from enrolment to the next dose.

Give patients a way to enrol, book training, receive reminders and reach program nurses. Cater connects enrolment, appointments and messages to the provider’s case-management system, under the program’s name.

From enrolment to ongoing support

  • Enrol on a phone. Patients give consent and complete enrolment through a text link.
  • Prepare for treatment. Book injection training or a first-dose appointment, with refill and visit reminders.
  • Stay in touch. Patients reach nurses and case managers through secure messages and video. Conversations enter the case-management system.
  • Review the program. The manufacturer receives aggregate reports on enrolment, time to first dose and completed check-ins.

    Before you join

Your doctor has prescribed your treatment. The program helps you start it and stay in touch with a nurse. It’s free, and funded by Arvenna Pharma (fictional).

    What we collect

Your name, date of birth, contact details and language, your appointments, what you tell the program team, and the clinic that prescribed your treatment.

    Who sees it

The program’s nurses and coordinators. Arvenna Pharma sees only totals, never your name, your messages or your doctor.

If you mention a side effect

The program team must pass it to Arvenna Pharma’s drug safety team, as Canadian rules require, with only what they need to assess it.

    Stopping

Leave at any time in Profile, or call (416) 555-0137. Your care with your doctor doesn’t change.

    About this data

    • Counted from the program’s own records each night; a patient appears in a total only after they consent.
    • Side-effect reports go to drug safety directly, on its own form, not through this view.
    • Nothing here says which doctors prescribe, and sales teams have no access.

Synthetic program data for this preview.

Fictional program, therapy and patient. Safety reporting is simulated.

Side-effect reporting in the program workflow

Staff review patient messages and forms, with software flags providing a second check for possible side effects. We test the flags against your program’s examples before launch and after changes.

Staff report on the manufacturer’s form within the agreed time. Drug safety determines what is reportable.

The optional AI assistant uses manufacturer-approved content, identifies itself as AI and hands over to program staff.

The program’s name and software

The app, website and messages carry the program’s name and identify the funding company. Patient records stay with the provider in Canada. The manufacturer receives aggregate reports.

The manufacturer or provider holding the contract owns the custom software.

Working with your program team

Approved content.

Forms, messages and contact workflows use your approved content. Your team reviews each change before release.

Case management.

We build the interface with the provider’s technology team, agreeing which enrolment details, appointments and conversations enter its patient records. Staff use organizational sign-in.

Multilingual materials.

English and French screens and content are included, with clinical translations following your approval process. Add the languages your patients need.

Program support.

Nurses and reimbursement specialists answer care and coverage questions. Add 24/7 human phone and chat support for app setup, sign-in and navigation.

For drug safety, privacy and quality

  • Safety reporting. The agreement sets reporting routes and timing. Flags and reports are logged for reconciliation with the safety database.
  • Privacy. The provider holds the records, hosted in Canada. Cater works under a processing agreement and supports your privacy assessment, including Law 25 for Quebec patients. Program data is not used for model training.
  • Patient information. A privacy centre under the program’s name explains how patient information is used. We maintain it for your approval.
  • Program scope. Support starts after prescribing. The app does not promote the therapy or reward prescribers.
  • Quality and procurement. Each change records its request, approval and release. We supply audit materials to the manufacturer’s and provider’s review teams. The contract can sit with the manufacturer or provider.
