For colleges and universities

Help students find the right support and stay with it.

Bring counselling, health, accessibility and wellness services together in your student portal or app. Students use their campus account to find support, book appointments and register for workshops, with reminders on their phone.

One place to find and book campus support

  • Service directory. Bring together campus services, groups and workshops, with links to the student union’s health plan and the helplines you select.
  • Booking and registration. Book an intake appointment or workshop place and receive reminders.
  • Follow-up. Keep the next appointment or session in a series in the student’s plan.
  • Staff records. We connect booking details to your case-management or health-record system, agreeing the fields with IT. Clinical notes stay in your existing systems.

Access and support for students

Access for students.

English and French are included, with additional languages available. The lightweight web experience works on older phones and follows WCAG 2.2 AA.

Human help.

Add 24/7 phone and chat support for sign-in, bookings and navigation. Campus services provide counselling and clinical care; after-hours and crisis instructions stay visible.

Planning and reporting.

Reports compare eligible students, service use and return visits. Your team uses them to review demand across services.

Your institution’s service and information

Students see your institution’s name in the portal or on your own web address. Your institution owns the custom software, with student data available for export.

Your branded privacy centre explains how student information is handled. We maintain it for your institution’s approval.

For IT security, privacy and purchasing

  • Identity and access. Campus SSO uses SAML or OpenID Connect and your identity provider’s multifactor authentication. Directory changes control access when students or staff leave.
  • Hosting. Each institution has a separate deployment and database in a Canadian data centre region.
  • System data. Your registrar and security team agree the fields used by the student-system feed.
  • Review materials. We supply data-flow diagrams, security controls, the service-provider list and a WCAG 2.2 AA conformance report. Our engineers complete the HECVAT or your questionnaire and support your privacy assessment.
  • AI. The optional assistant helps with bookings and forms, identifies itself as AI and hands over to campus staff. Conversations are processed in Canada; student information is not used to train models.
  • Contract and supplier. The contract sets data export, return and deletion terms. McCauley Studios carries cyber and errors-and-omissions insurance.
